Advice for McKinney North volleyball underclassmen: Don’t wish the days away. Enjoy every moment, even the hard ones!
Proudest volleyball accomplishment: Getting all district honorable mention my sophomore year, returning to play after an ACL injury, and reaching 500 career digs!
Proudest classroom accomplishment: Being top 10 percent of my class and inducted into NHS.
Favorite Bulldog volleyball memory: All of our bus rides home from playoff games, especially going to eat together after!
Favorite quote: Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift. That's why they call it the present.
Thank yous: I would like to thank my whole family. Mom and dad, thank you for your unwavering support, whether it was driving me to all of my practices or cheering me on at all of my games, you guys have always been there for me. And thank you to my siblings, Reese, Bryce, and Tyler. Thank you guys for always coming to my games and cheering me on when you are able to. Thank you Coach Rod and Coach Kelley for pushing me to be the best version of myself everyday. Thank you Coach Oku, Coach Steiner, and Riley for helping me, and pushing me through my ACL recovery process. And thank you to my amazing teammates for being my WHY. I wouldn’t be where I am today without any of these people. I love you guys!

#7 Kaitlyn "KJ" Jefferson, Middle Blocker

Plans after graduation: Attend collegt to pursue biology.
Advice for McKinney North volleyball underclassmen: Be coachable; play as a team; work hard, even when you feel like you have nothing left to give; stay positive through mistakes; last but not least enjoy the journey - memories you create will last forever.
Proudest volleyball accomplishment: Becoming a State Finalist, representing my school at the highest level of competition; earning First Team All - District honors for my performance on the court; serving as Co-Captain, leading my team with dedication and teamwork; winning multiple National Qualifiers with my club teammates.
Proudest classroom accomplishment: Receiving Academic All-District recognition for balancing athletics with academics - multiple years; maintaining a strong GPA; volunteering hours at Minnie’s Food Pantry, Serve with Liberty, and Salvation Army.
Favorite Bulldog volleyball memory: My favorite memory was beating Highland Park to advance to the next round of playoffs. It felt so good beating them after all the trash talk on the court - especially because they didn’t think we could beat them. That win was unforgettable. Also, going to STATE - will never forget!!

Plans after graduation: Go to college and get a degree in biology
Advice for McKinney North volleyball underclassmen: Everything that you do always has a consequence, good or bad.
Proudest volleyball accomplishment: For my club team, reaching 1000 kills; for my school team, going to state.
Proudest classroom accomplishment: Maintaining my 3.7 GPA throughout the years.
Favorite Bulldog volleyball memory: Going to state my Junior year with some of the most amazing players.

Thank yous: My parents, because they have made so many sacrifices, support my volleyball career and choice and they have always been with me through thick and thin.
My club and school coaches see my potential and push me to my limits every time I step into the gym and make them the best that I can be.
My teammates, for being there with me everyday and pushing me to always put in the work to be the best I can be.
All of my good friends I have met and played with my entire career making everyday a lovely memory to look back on.

#4 Jordan Kowallis, Setter
Plans after graduation: Go to school in Utah to become an esthetician.
Advice for McKinney North volleyball underclassmen: Give 100% of everything you have 100% of the time because time flies and you can’t get it back.
Proudest volleyball accomplishment: Three-year varsity athlete; honorable mention junior year; hit 500 assists junior year; hit 1000 assists senior year.
Proudest classroom accomplishment: Academic All District all 3 years; NHS junior and senior year; PALS junior and senior year.
Favorite Bulldog volleyball memory: Making it to the state finals and making history as a team.
Thank yous: Thank you mom, dad, Emme and Annie for being my biggest supporters and pushing me to be the best I can be. Y'all are my favorite people and I couldn't be more grateful to have such loving and caring parents. I love y'all.
Thank you Peyton for giving me someone to play for this year. You have helped me realize that it's hard to do things without you, but you give me motivation. I love you
Thank you Coach Rod and Coach Kelley for seeing more in me than I could. You guys have made me the athlete and person I am today and your influence will continue to stay with me as I go to college.

Thank yous: I want to thank my parents for never letting me pass up an opportunity and always supporting me. I want to thank the coaches for making me the best player I can be. I also want to thank my teammates for making volleyball fun and giving me memories that will last a lifetime.

Plans after graduation: Studying mechanical engineering and traveling the world.
Advice for McKinney North volleyball underclassmen: Make every second count to become who you want to be so you can live moving forward as you best self with no regrets
Proudest volleyball accomplishment: Being a part of the state finalist team that beat Highland Park and Rick Reedy, being selected for the All State team, and being the volleyball representative for the MNHS Student Athlete Leadership Team.
Proudest classroom accomplishment: I am very proud to be recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction after getting 5s on my AP Calculus and AP Physics exams.
Favorite Bulldog volleyball memory: Our upset win against Highland Park last year in a reverse sweep.

Plans after graduation: Attend Texas A&M to play volleyball and study kinesiology
Advice for McKinney North volleyball underclassmen: Confidence comes from the work you put in every day. Remember your “why” on the tough days, and never take the gift of playing volleyball for granted. The journey is the dream!!!!
Proudest volleyball accomplishment: Making it to the State Championship and competing with the U21 National Team.
Favorite Bulldog volleyball memory: Our junior season playoff run!
